I was more looking for a roll race from around 40 - 120. I will be the first to admit Ill lose badly from a dig.

Probably not, but with being threatened jail time last time I got pulled over for "racing", I sure as hell am not taking the bait.
By the way, apparently racing in Prince William County will get you 2 days minimum in jail (5 day max.) from all but one of the judges.
There are two autoX locally this weekend (just search for some of my last posts). Come on out to either one and see how you do compared to me (and a whole bunch of other cars/people as well). Probably better to keep ~120+ mph speeds off public streets...
Good thought but I would much rather go to a 1/4 mile track than an autox due to the car i drive. I don't think my car could hang with an s2000 on the turns, I never said that. And what is the trap speed for a stock s2000, that should tell us how we will fare from a roll race.

Your car can't stop or turn as well as an S2000, is probably somewhat similar to an S2000 at the dragstrip (within .5 seconds) which is to say pretty slow.
Get some seat time at an autoX or HPDE and start to work on the nut behind the wheel.

If you're trapping 97mph, a roll race probably won't be all that close. From a dig the S2K has the RWD advantage. In the turns that's where the S2K shines, and as you already mentioned, you aren't going to win that race either.
Nobody is trying to be cocky on here, we're just stating the facts. If your sole purpose for this run is to see how a 3000GT SL stands up against an S2000, then you don't need to actually do the run to figure out those results. You'll be hard pressed to find someone on here to agree to a street race... it's illegal you know.
I'd be more than happy to run you at a mutually agreeable track though, either in the quartermile or in an auto-x. There are a couple 1/4th mile tracks in the Richmond area, which is about halfway between us.

Seeing how the base model 3kgt (ragtop never stated which NA model he has) has the same motor as the R/T, the outcome wouldn't be much different.
Whatever it's called, it was a turbo one.
