Default NoVA 3000gt owner looking for a friendly run...

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, or if I shouldn't have done this in the first place, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

I am a Northern Virginia 3000gt owner that came VERY close to buying an s2000 in december when i totalled my talon tsi awd. I even created this user account here and did alot of research. Instead, I ended up buying a new engine for my crippled 3000gt.

I am very curious to see how I compare to an s2000 in stock or near-stock form. This is not a VR4 by the way, just a base. Anybody interested in a friendly run??

not to be evil.......... you have no chance....... weighs more. like 32xx has less power traveling through a 5spd fwd... if your from the area and have seen a black on sprayed black wheels sl... ask him ive slayed him a few times.. i never see any vr4's around here, and the one i have seen was a redneckish woman who looked like she really wanted a camaro.... j/k

I stuck pretty close to the back bumper of my buddy's Stealth R/T...I don't think it's worth your time in a base model.

i beg to differ about not having a chance.

i trapped 97 at MIR in march, before i put on my full exhaust. I put 210hp to the wheels in stock form after having my remanufactured engine put in. The highest output from ANY NA 3000gt/stealth before that was 195 with every bolt-on. The JDM engine i got was a freak engine that was probably bored/god knows what (I'm no engine expert).

basically, im not your average fwd 3000gt. I know cars well enough to know when I will have no chance, and you would not see me on this board asking this question if I couldn't contend.

dont count me out.

I will give you a run, as long as there are some corners involved

My car is mostly stock

Seeing how the base model 3kgt (ragtop never stated which NA model he has) has the same motor as the R/T, the outcome wouldn't be much different.
