Hmmm...as for perceptions, I'd have to say that some people are more reserved in person than online. Including yours truly - maybe. I just like to have fun out here and most of the rest of you do too! Which is good...

some people definitly suprised me after i met em.
when tony (moparacker) was buying his car, honestly tony i thought you were going to be the biggest prick at s2k events. but you ended up being a good guy and suprisingly the best driver???? still shocked.
but i enjoy everyone in the mid-a. i think that the hampton roads owners have gotten very close. a lot of my really good friends are here and i love hanging and goofing with you.
over the last two months ive gotten to know rob and chad pretty good and i must say that these are two of the coolest guys ive met. very nice people.
a big thing for me is my girlfriend, christy, and the mid-a members. christy is a pretty quiet person and doesnt usually feel comfortable around people that she doesnt know. its important for me that people acknowledge her and try to make her feel welcome. remember shes an outsider when it comes to the s2k stuff. a lot of you have done that for her and i appreciate it a lot!
alex ive known for over a year now and am still shocked to see you here on s2ki, especially being as highly spoken of being the hardcore audi fan that you use to be, i remember hearing all day long that my s2000 wasnt enough to keep up with a TT or boxster. i think it was the car and driver roadster comparison inwhich car and driver called the audi tt... "meg ryan on four wheels".... and called the s2000... "the only TRUE sports car".... that made you think, ahhh maybe matts right!
but overall man i consider you a great friend and decent coworker. especially when i cant close a customer and you take a flying T.O. lol
tenblade, steve. you went from being very cool, to a royal prick, to back to being even cooler then before!

dan, well i dont really know what to say about dan other than i wish he was alittle more present like he use to be. it seems the more hampton roads owners we get, the further dan seems to get from the fun??
dave, what can you say about dave?? GOOFY!! haha, jp. dave as much as you wanna get outta VA... sorry to telly ou brother but im praying your ass aint goin NOWHERE!
and last but not least WINGY! what about wingy!?! dave, other then my father, you are by far the COOLEST "older" dude i have ever met! your energy and passion for this car is awsome! your a great guy and ive loved the few times that weve hung out. cant wait to do it some more most of all though i love your passion for 20 year old boys in hats

Sorry, didn't mean anything negative. Don't mean to offend anyone. I'm asian, and was just curious.
Main reason, we do have the Chinese New Year coming up and was re-planning to have another gathering this year like last year. I am (however) a bad planner, good ideas for meets, but bad planner. I ended up sending ppl to two different places last year.
Poindexter, maybe we should have Mid-A mod day/bring your camera to take a pic w/ your car day.
In case ppl are interested, Chinese New Year is January 22nd, and we can celebrate next weekend to meet and eat and to take our mugshots. I'll bring my digital camera. I'll start a new thread.
