They're going to release her today(in a couple of hours)- an unexpected, but welcomed suprise.

I have to take her some clothes and whatnot. I've elected to take her the t-shirt that she wore when she was released from UVA almost two years ago... a Fall Colors 2003 event shirt.
glad to hear that good news
hope all is well!!

Slight improvement. Her headache seems to be subsiding, however, her gnawed tongue is still getting the best of her. Thank you, everyone, for your continued prayers and concerns. We visit the neurologist Monday. Then I'm sure we'll being seeing an ENT this week as well.

Skip and Janet,

Hopefully she will continue to make progress.

Janet, I will keep waving that Corona at FCT05 out there as a carrot.

You are all in our thoughts. Get well, be well.

Best regards,
Matt

A sigh of relief. o

Motor skills are fine. Another EEG scheduled for next Monday. Hopefully all the short-circuiting will settle down. We just need to keep her hydrated and give some time for her to get used to the Keppra- anti-seizure med. If that stuff works, I'm thinking about using it on the bolts that hold the exhaust system together.

Every day that she doesn't have a seizure is not only a blessing, but reduces the likelihood of having another.

This is good news.

BTW...I think the keppra is best used on the exhaust system in a liquid form. The pills just rattle around in the exhaust cans.....Its get REALLY annoying at low speed
