Prayers for Janet
Brief update:
I will talk to the attending physician later. No warm-n-fuzzy = transport to UVA.
Right after talking with Eric, I talked with my mom-in-law. Janet seemed to be coming off some pain meds and complained to her mom that she did not feel right. Her mother suggested that she close her eyes for a little bit as she had not had much rest today. About 15 minutes later Janet started saying that she was experiencing double-vision.
They had her on her way to radiology in 10 minutes. No poop.
They had better not waited too long... again. Thank goodness I have y'all to talk to, otherwise I'd have a huge amount of steam built up upon arrival. And that wouldn't be productive for anyone. As it is, I'll arrive, how should I say? Forcibly firm.
The children are doing reasonably well. They are helping me do laundry, pick up, etc. It is a way to "help" their mother. Everyone around here keeps offering to keep them for a couple of days. What they don't understand is that I need them. They keep me distracted from being sorrowful. Another example of God's blessings in my life.
For those asking, I do not have the hospital's address. With the likelihood of me requesting her transfer, I respectfully request that you hold off on any physical well-wishes.
I can never repay everyone's expressions, however, I will finally make the bowling/driving/socializing event a reality once all this has cleared up.
We'll need it.

Skip,I just found out about this a few minutes ago.
Please know that Janet, you and your entire familiy are in our thoughts. One does have to question why bad things sometimes happen to good people? Hopefully, like Lance Armstrong, who came back stronger than before his illness, Janet will as well.
Please give her our regards and a hug from us. Also let her know that I have a Corona waiting for her at FCT05
So she had better get herself back into partying form soon.Let us know if we can help in any way as we are only an hour away.
Sincerely,
Matt & Barbara

Unbelieveable ... here I thought that this was a closed episode, and it has reared itself up again.
It puts everything into perspective .
You and your family has everyone's hopes and prayers.
Here's to better days.

I know all too well what it is like to be in your shoes,be strong, stay positive and stay on top of the medical staff. She needs you to be her advocate while in the hospital, they are all under staffed and overworked.
