Just going by your thread title, I would suggest you step on the gas pedal with your right foot and apply the brakes with your left

Just like everyone else is saying - put some more miles on the tires and see how it feels.

Actually, some of today's top drivers are switching to left foot braking. I'm sure Alex was saying it tongue-in-cheek, however, I've been playing with it myself. I just had to wear a neck brace initially... I wasn't exactly smoooooth!

I do in my pickup and always have in automatics as that is how my father taught me. people like Schumacher do it Formula One since they use paddle shifters and no clutch. I believe others like Barrichello and Coulthard still use their right foot as they had a hard time adjusting.
