quick question
I've done my research and I know that the stock offset for the '00 s2k is
16x6.5 F.
16x7.5 R.
Question is simple...will this work w/out rubbing
18x8 F. w/ +53 or higher offset on a 225/45/18
18x9 R. w/ +50 or higher offset on a 255/40/18
Im worried about the 8-9 width..should I go 18x7 (f) and 18x8

And so far you have no rubbing issues?Mines Ap1...looks like your is AP2..isnt there a difference..I'll probably do the 245/35/18...Thanks alot man..
and I have 245/35/18s on my 18x8 +48 rears.
Advice: Don't run Naveed's sizes if you 1) drive you car, 2) lower your car, and 3) have excessive stereo equipment in the trunk or frequent passengers.
Lowering with soft springs like the Espilirs(sp?) will not help prevent rubbing t be sure.

I have the same wheel setup that you had so you speak from experience...
I have Tein S-Techs, so the drop isnt big by any means. In normal driving I dont really have much problem... but if I drive aggressively on twisty roads, I do rub....

[QUOTE=WhiteNukl,Oct 11 2006, 06:38 PM] Hmmm ok...well I do plan on dropping her on Espilar's and I do drive the car...and I do have a passenger all the time...So maybe I should just go 17x7(f) and 17x8

Don't immediately give up on tire size.
It's the offsets that are the key.

I might try to be brave in the next few months and see how 255s end up for me, but don't think thatd be any time soon. I'm sure you'll hear my bitching and complaning if it doesn't go well
