Default Rear Vibration

just started getting the rear vibration from the rear of my car. did a lot of searching on this site and even found that a TSB has been issued for this. apparently its the inner cv joint. just wanted to know how many of you with an AP1has already dealt with this. I'm really hoping the stealership (not a type-o) will cover this but if not, looks like i'll have a shitty running car until i can afford the repair.

If you contact Skip, I'm sure he can give you some pointers on this condition. He has dealt with this in the past on his car.\

... after he replaces the inner cv's.

It's messy, but not hard. If the dealership sees that your suspension has been modified, I'm guessing they'd just laugh at you. That, and the fact that the car is 8 years old now leads me to believe that you'll be footing the bil yourself. I got the cv's from Hardtopguy and installed them myself. I then ordered J's spacers from Steve at Evolution. There are cheaper spacers available from other companies.

Personally, you might as well do both at the same time.

UPDATE

just got the car back from honda. i'm simply appauled at what they told me

i need a new clutch, tranny, and diff. total all together is over 8 grand. the mechanic drove it an felt the vibration then let off the gas and heard the chatter from the car and said he felt like the car was gonna fall apart.

keep in mind my car is a 2000 AP1 with less than 45000 miles on it. all of its oils and fluids have been changed at every appropriette time of change..

ok so APPARENTLY this guy has never read up on the older AP1s. He was feeling "clutch Buzz" when he let off the throttle (thank you honda for shitty stock clutches). another thing that makes it VERY fishy is if i had a tranny that was going to shit i would know off the bat. i would have trouble gettin into gear, gears grinding etc etc. it seems like they said everything apart of the tranny EXCEPT the inner CVs and half shafts had to be replaced. i honestly think that they are saying i need all this to avoid the TSB that seemingly no one decided to look up on besides me. in any event i called up skip and we both decided that i should get a 2nd opinion first. i went over to CCC and talked to brady, told him about my problem, what honda said, and whats normal for my car. i have an appointment on friday. i'm eager to see the outcome. if its the inner cvs, then casey honda can seriously go make sweet loves to themselves. i will never bring my car to them again. next thing you know i go for an oil change and they'll say i'm missing a piston
