LOL... yes you do that, and don't pay the ticket. But when they suspend your vehicle registration then I'm sure you'll enjoy paying the suspension ticket you'll receive when pulled over, the court costs, the reinstatement fees at dmv, AND the camera ticket.

Meh, why support a dangerous and blatantly money-grubbing tactic?

On the local news I heard that Virginia will be doing away with camera fines sometime this summer because they don't hold up in court.

I heard somewhere that when they initiated it, everyone was getting tickets on yellow lights or if they were pulled to far foward waiting on the light. It was something rediculous like 50-100k tickets that were bogus.

The lights will be coming down this summer when the new laws roll over, Its june or July first, forget which one. There were also privacy issues that swayed the legislature to stop the photo lights.

However, till then just pay the ticket. Dont take it to court unless you are a 100% sure you can beat it. If you pay the ticket its nothing more then a parking ticket....No points. Ive heard you take it to court and you loose it turns into a MOVING VIALATION!!!!!

Just remember if your in NOVA and you cross over to DC, be weary, they are keeping their lights and they also have a few cars that have photo radar.

Got nailed by photo radar in DC a couple months ago.

Have been meaning to invest in this, but just haven't gotten around to it:

After watching those news videos they link to and reading about the products, that spray sounds pretty good, and seems more effective (and attractive) than the plate covers.

if that stuff really just requires a one-time spray, maybe we should all chip-in, buy a can or two and have a "plate spray day"? otherwise, seems expensive to pay $30 for one can (or maybe i'm just a cheap bastard, lol )
