Default Redline: Time Attack!

Hi all,

I wanted to let you all know about the Redline: Time Attack coming to Summit Point this August 5 & 6. This will be the battle for the fastest car east of the Mississippi. Several teams and racers are geared up for this one. Most of the teams that competed at the BeaveRun Time Attack are returning to defend there standing, and many new contenders have already told me they plan to come out and take the fastest lap. This will be a great event! We have cars from California, Canada and all over coming to this event. Top Tuner teams from JIC Magic, Cusco, Boxer4, AMS, Cobb Tuning. Dent Motorsports, DTM Motorsports, Buschur, and more.

This event isn't just for the tuners either... The Redline: Time Attack has several classes so even if you don't have a built up Unlimited class car, you can still take the honors in our Street or Modified class. We have classes from street car to race car. There will also be a HPDE and drivers school on Saturday, August 5th. So if you want to get in on the action, visit http://www.redlinetimeattack.com/

Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Chris

It's good to hear that we're doing our job right out there!

BeaveRun does favor the high hourse power cars. Let's see what happens at Summit. I bet you'll do well.

the East Coast Honda Challenge record is 1:37.736.

just some food for thought. that is a full race car running Kuhmo R compound tires.

ehhh.... never done shenandoah in it, only the main track. do they even have a class for open wheelers?

i am getting slower instead of faster. maybe it is the heat, maybe i am trying to think too much and not just putting my foot to the floor and pray the wings will keep me down.

was at NHIS two weeks ago (hmmm, 1st time there, spun and continued turn 3 on 1st lap), SP last week (oops, spun and continued in turn 1 tring to catc back up to another FA that just got by me), and headed for Watlins Glen for 1st time this week.

besides, time attack is a one lap flyer, not like trying to piece together a bunch of laps, manage to pass or be passed by others.

on the good side, i am the points leader in SCCA WDC region MARRS for 2006 and have it locked in for being the 2006 FA champion. (shhh, i am the only one there actually doing the series, others are just using it to tune/test for nationals, imsa, get license current, etc, but champion is champion, right?)

Keith,

You should run the 360, I am sure you could destroy all the "tuner" cars
