PS don't let Pete G talk you into making major mods (removing the rear wing) right before your last time attack run.
YOU DID WHAT???Congrats on your finish though. Perhaps he was trying to show you what it would be like once I get that thing.
Yo Skip, how's it going! Too bad you didn't make it out this weekend. Cale, sorry to hear about the shocks...next time. I think you should toss out those RA1's and run in Street class with me. George, congrats on the 2nd place finish.
Andrew- if you're on here...which I know you are, congrats on 1st in Street RWD. I'll get you next time!

George, the problem may have been the number of adjustments (front and rear tire pressures, wing removal, and rear rebound).
My guess is that the tire pressures and rear rebound adjustments were fine but the wing should have stayed on. I figured that the only turn where you would really need the wing was T10 but the instability you felt at little and big bend plus the wondering on the starights means you are getting some benefit even on other portions of the track. Still, you had pretty much locked up second place and there was no way that "driver adjustments" would net you ~1 second to reach first so I think the car experimentation was worth it (after all it did not hurt your ranking and know you know about the wing effects even on straights and lower speed turns).
That M3 was seriously fast, he was blowing past me like I was standing still the weekend earlier.
Too bad about Cale's car, that would have been a good compitition since your cars are very similar.
Fun day!

Pete,
I did appreciate your advice, it was a good time to experiment, and I still would have gotten 2nd place with my 2nd run times.
I think perhaps my alignment isa little hosed from me replacing both rear wheel bearings and the wing masks a lot of that.

A S2000 took the Win in Stock RWD (Andrew?)
I took 2nd in Modified RWD, with a 1:43 lap time, I was beat by a well prepped 89 M3 race car.

Sidenote - Chad Slagg has run Toyo's the entire year and his lap times have been within about .3-.4 of the best lap times for anyone running any tires in Honda Challenge..... that says the Toyo's are pretty decent if you can get the right shave and tire pressures.

It was fun hangin out with you guys Sunday
Its too bad the friendly competition with Cale and George couldnt pan out. Cale- we shoulda swapped out our suspensions so you could continue the friendly battle
I get some instability on the straights, but nothing that makes me weary of braking hard into that 1st turn. I can definitely feel some slight undulation as your going down there though.
