Redline Time Attack Video - Session #1 & #2
Question for someone who's never been to Summit point before - Do you have to drive top up? I know for a time attack it probably makes sense, but for an HPDE, I'd rather have the top down
BTW- Thanks for the vids Calvin. Glad to be able to checkout the track before Monday!

Thanks guys.
I've learned a lot from watching my video clips to see what I could do differently. I also definitely learned some things from the spin. I had it floored coming out of the bowl and through the turn. I should have eased off the throttle in the turn since my tires were getting greasy, but I didn't. I also made a decision to put both feet in after the delayed initial correction since I was headed in the direction of the concrete wall. I guess it was my self-preservation instinct.
I prefer driving with the top down, but I had it up at the time attack to get more speed down the straights.

I finally figured out how to download my video clips to my laptop and to youtube. This was from the first time attack session. I spun out on the first lap of the second session. I'll have to load that video too.
Check it out.

In general I would say if you stop short shifting, learn heel-toe and shuffle steer when needed and you will be flying.

Nice job, very smooth. Nice job steering in reverse at your spin to avoid the wall.
