Awesome videos, Calvin!!

Along with everybody that is good on this track, your line is very consistent!! I believe I've got that down when I consistently ran 1:48s the later part of Sunday. Now I need to work on getting faster!!

I noticed your lines are much tighter than my lines. I will try those lines next time to shave off a few seconds when my equipment allows me to. Come on, Spring'08!!

Good job on the spin save!!

I this track!!

For anyone who hasn't been on it, be ready for a head-ache at the end of the day Monday because you will be grinning so hard inside your helmet!!

I can't really tell if my lines are ideal. I think a data logger would help me figure that out. Some of the turns also have negative camber as you get closer to the edge, so I was staying a bit more inside. Also, as Pete pointed out, I was short shifting in several places and I need to work on consistency in my heel-toe down shifts. Shuffle steering would help too in some corners.

I can drive Main without shuffle steering, but not Shenandoah.

[QUOTE=Hobbs5313,Oct 17 2007, 09:35 AM] I prefer driving with the top down, but I had it up at the time attack to get more speed down the straights.

Nice vids. Great lines. One question. You were on 5th gear at the end of the main straight. How fast were you going?
Thanks. I'm not sure how fast I was going. I usually don't look at my speedometer at the very end of the straights, and I try to "feel" how fast I'm going through turns. I know I'm over 100 before I get in the braking zone though. Once I get my data logger, I'll be able to tell.

Top down will be mandatory. I'm going by NASA guidelines.
Are you serious? I was planning on testing out my wing NASA rules FTL
