Default Relocation for the summer ...

Ok, so right now, im trying to find a job. i really would like live in a place other than VA for the summer. So far, the only options that lie ahead is working for the government, which is fine with me because i worked for them last summer so taht gives a head start from the rest of the ppl that apply for these student jobs the governtment has. anyone have advice for me on this issue?

also, imma try to convice one of my friends to move there with me for the summer so renting isnt going to cost much. another thing is that ill only be there for 3 months, and 3month contracts are unheard of when renting an apartment right? ill easily pull in $1200 a month, maybe even more if i could get a paygrade one step higher. so i dont think the monthly payments for renting should be a problem, especially if i could convince someone to move with me

just lemme know what y'all think. i really need to get away. AFter being in miami for 2 weeks, i was a lot more relaxed etc. so i think if i could find a place to work outside of VA, it would give me a nice boost in my life hahahha

"nice boost in life"

Plenty of apartment places have furnished short-term units. That shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah right - like anyone is going to live with you

I think you should do it Carlo. That is one of the things I regret not doing while I was less settled down (younger). I would have loved to do something as simple as live in Hatteras for the summer, do some bartending or waiting in the evening, and just surf during the day

Live in DC for the summer- plenty of govt jobs, not IN VA, and its a different scene from Virginia Beach. And if you miss home, you can always visit after a 4 hour drive! I personally couldnt live in DC-its too busy for my taste. But, I like the fact that I live near a big city because the suburban life out here in Chan-teeezy gets boring and routine during the work week.

go to the beach man. amazing place, the girls are everywhere. plenty of shit to overload yourself with and then your 3 months are up. i know alot of people moving down to ocean city for the summer. some people think that place is a dump so if not OC then VA beach. Have Fun wherever you go!!!
