Default Replacement battery

I searched to get an OEM battery, but no luck.

Where can I get an OEM battery?

Also, what would be good replacement batteries for our cars?

I would like to get a battery that's either the same weight or lighter (nothing heavier).

I've read some things about the PC680 battery. Is this a direct replacement? How are the cold cranks around n.va for those who live in the n.va area?

Thanks

I would check with a OEM parts store AKA dealer.

I'd recommend a generic from any of the major auto parts stores. Their book back by the batteries should list which one is the right size. It will weigh pretty much the same as the stock battery and you'll save some big coin.

I went to my local Honda dealer (Peninsula Honda), and a battery was about $70. I'd rather have an OEM battery in the car, but I'm just picky like that.

$70 is very reasonable, I assumed it would much more than that from the dealer.

Sam's Club/Costco. They stock the replacement for our car. I think I paid about $48 for mine. And I got to keep my core which I reconditioned and works perfectly fine. It now serves as a good spare.
