Default Replacing OEM Speakers but keeping Head Unit

Have many people around here done that? I just want to replace the speakers to get a little bit better sound quality. I do not want to add a sub. Is it easy DIY project or should I take it to a shop?

did you integrate the pioneer w/the controls on the left side? and how much is a good head unit where i can still keep the controls on the left side of the wheel?

yeah allan's right.. not gonna be much difference changing out the speakers while keeping the factory headunit..though vice-versa would be more of an advantage...

i'd recommend an alpine deck get the dci from modifry add an ipod interface. and change out the speakers with the memphis pr 6.5" speakers...

fred.
