Resigning as CO
I recently sold my S2000. See here --> https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/918571-new-cars/
It has been an honor to serve this community. I was actually quite surprised when you gave me the privilege of leading this group along with our other CO's. I hope I have served you well.
I am stepping down for the following reasons: I am a firm believer that in order to be CO, you should own a car of the community you organize. This may not be required, but that is how I feel. Imagine me leading a drive in a Solara or a Venza.
Also, due to my new job and some other factors, I have not been as active as I would like to have been recently and feel like someone with a little more time, a little more desire and little more ownership of a S2000 may do a better job. Further, since the board redesign, we have not had nearly as much traffic on the mid-A boards. I have not found a good solution to this problem and it does bother me that activity has decreased to such an extent on my watch.
I am not going anywhere. I will follow the tradition of CO's stepping down, but not leaving. I may have to pay for a membership again, lest I get my badge taken away by that one jack*ss CO who was always doing that.
I am thinking this years superbowl party will be my last event as CO. That should give us more that enough time to get a new CO up and running. link for SB party here --> https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/921...perbowl-party/
Thank you for your time.
