richmond area
yeah dave, i have been throuogh a few since the green one, sold that and bought a 2010 ducati 848, that was backed over in a parking lot, bought a 2011 BMW s1000rr to replace it. still have that bike. and picked up another 2007 kawasaki zx6r like the green one but red.
thats true, thats why im not upset or anything, im just trying to get something started and judging by the interest thats not gonna happen. looking like it owuld be just me adn dave willing to do things.
i see a fair amount in richmond, henrico, chesterfield, etc area. yeah i know that i would be well recieved i just want something that is in my own back yard, that way i could be more active and not have to wake up several hours before hand, its a mixture of lazy and wanting richmond to do better.
Harder to organize something outside of what you know. I have no beef with Richmond, I just don't know the area. To generate participation in your area sometimes it just take a like jump start.
Thanks for doing this and I hope it works out as that area has been quiet for some time.
There aren't really a lot of S2000 guys running around Richmond and that's the problem. I only know of 2-3 others with mods and only one of them I'm really friends with. I tend to just suck it up and make the drive down to Williamsburg or VA Beach for meets down that way. I've always been well received.
I think folks would be willing to make the drive (myself included). Just some one down that way has to be willing to host/plan/etc.
I've got a friend who is into classic cars that has some land... it's out in Chesapeake, VA near the NC line on 17.... I will talk to him and see if he is willing to host such a get together and make this like a camping event.... we could have a fire pit and people could set up their own tents and stuff. There are plenty of back roads with twisties...I'll discuss with him the details of what I want to do and see if he is up for it... then I will post a date if it's a go...

see now this is what im talking about. im sure i could find some roads, or maybe dave could lend some knowledge to get me started. this is a great idea when they open up the new store, with an acutal real parking lot. since parking sucks at current location
Hey Wes... You and I should meet up and let me take you around on some roads here in Goochland, Co. The beauty of these roads is that all of them eventually lead/backloop to secondary roads that you're already likely to be familar with (i.e. crossing over 250, 33. 6, etc.). Aaaaaaaaaand
if I were to get you out here, you could witness how my Konis & KG/MMs handle on back roads
