Ok guys and gals here goes. After inquiring about upcoming events and taking some advice from others I've decided I'll try this out.I'll try and keep this short and simple. Those that know me have already found out that I have decided to go back into the military. I already served about 4 and a half years in the Marine Corps and have slowly come to the conclusion that the military is a better fit for me and will benefit my family better than the path I am currently traveling. I have finalized this deal and I will be leaving for training on July 10th the join the ranks of other active duty soldiers. With that said I would like to try and set up alittle BBQ here in Richmond before I leave.That only leaves us alittle time to set this up and commit to it...I know its short notice and will be the weekend of July 4th but thats just kinda how things ended up.If the Army says im leaving on the 10th...then im leaving on the 10th So....

What:Richmond BBQ and drive.
Whereeep Run Park. Richmond Va
Who:Everyone is invited.
When:July 7th at 2:00=Drive Then after the drive we will grill out and just hang until the park closes or you choose to leave.

This park has several pavilions and lakes for fishing,(if you wish) Basketball courts, soccer/football fields, Grills.etc. I suggest that everyone bring something to chip in for this as I cant possibly furnish everything. This will be a typical BBQ...hotdogs, burgers, chips, drinks(your choice). If you want grilled chicken or shrimp skewers please bring those yourself

Are you going back to the Marine Corps or Army? It sounds like you are joining the Army and not the Marines. Best wishes by the way for choosing to serve in Armed Forces.

Thanks for the well wishes.Im going into the Army...the Marines wont take me back in because I have a tattoo on my neck. Irony is I actually go the tattoo while I was in the marines...oh well. It is what it is.
