I'll try to make it out to that one. I should be set up and ready to go by then. Anything else coming up? If I can get a day off I might try Friday At The Track.

Get the car setup right Kevin, and we will see you at the track!
Haha, yeah, because I didn't take pictures or talk much about removing the interior and plastics. Yeah, I just need to get a few more things done and it will be set up.

FYI If anyone in Mid-A wants a roll bar I recommend you talk to Oleg. He has the knowledge and now he has the necessary grinder and drill bit to make the installation part a lot faster. If you already have the rear plastic tray removed, it really will only take 3 hours or so to put the bar in.

Nice job guys and I agree with the Oleg recommendation. He is a very skilled mechanic and would trust him to do pretty much anything with an S2000. I have one recommendation on the install to make.

Start the install by puting 10mm bolts in the empty roll bar bracket holes you see in this picture:

Then put the top up and down to check for clearance and move the bar around to where you want it and then tighten down these 10mm bolts to hold the bar in place while you drill the mounting holes. You'll have a bunch of 10mm bolts laying around from the interior removal.

lol.. 3 hours? depends on the cutting tool really.

we've done the last 3 installs at Oleg's house (mine, Matt's, and yours). Sorry about this weekend, but it was both a track weekend and a wedding weekend. Makes s2ki people hard to find

Good job on the roll bar install guys. You had the two best mechanics in Mid- A. Kudos to Oleg for always helping out our community.

What do you guys do to keep the holes / plates from rusting?
Has there been problems with them rusting after time?

Expanding foam and rubberized spray on coating do the trick.

I forgot the ruberized spray on mine a year ago, haven't noticed much rusting yet. I have been meaning to get around to putting it on though.

Do you have a link to exactly which stuff I should get, Oleg?
