Maybe scuff up the surrounding areas and hit the exposed metal with POR15 or similar rust protectant sealer, then do the rubberized coating. Seems like a safer option. Nice work, all around.

Looks great

I may pester Oleg once I get my hands on a roll bar for his and any one else expertise

I would try and retain the interior components so keep the semi stock look and maybe cut and sand down the holes for the bars to pass through

I definitely recommend Oleg! He is a wizard

I was able to put back a couple panels yesterday. The only reason I wasn't able to put back the rest of the interior panels is because I am using Hard Dog's bulkhead replacement bar instead of the OEM bulkhead.

My s2000 retained the interior around the rollbar. Trimming the interior to fit around the rollbar took as long to do as the actual rollbar install itself. A lot of trimming, fitting, removing, rinse/repeat.

I need to put back all that I took out for the hardtop. Lacking motivation though.

It would have been a sin to have a car that good looking and leave them out of your car.

Sometimes I wish I had just used the OEM bulkhead instead of the replacement bar, and tried going through with the interior reinstall. I'll just need to figure out a way to make the rest of the exposed area look nice.

Look up posts by Fasting. He has a red AP2 that's pretty close to a CR replica. He made some custom pieces to take up the space where the factory roll hoops would have been. Those are the only pieces you can't put back in. It looks super clean. I think he has the double diagonal bar.
