I have koni adjustables on all four courners and espelier springs(I probably mispelled that) and an upgraded front sway, just can't remember what kind.
That's not what I would consider an upgrade.

I used to run a Gendron bar and Koni yellows with 380# springs at all corners when sc'd. The car was way undersprung.

Not trying to be argumentative... just relaying my personal experience.

If you have a rollbar, you should be using harnesses. With harnesses, you will most likely not hit your head on the bar if you are obeying the laws of the road. If you are driving on the street with a rollbar and oem belts, you are rolling the dice. Good luck.
what you mean by this?

Not sure what part of my statement is confusing. Can you be more specific?

Skip is saying that if you run a roll bar you shouldn't run stock seat belts because they allow too much upper body movement in an accident. Two fixed shoulder harnesses will keep you from hitting the roll bar.

A roll over can be very, very violent. Imagine hanging upside down in your car with a stock 3 point belt. You'll stretch quite a bit and trust me, your head will touch the soft/hard top. Imagine being dropped from 5 feet while upside down and you start to get the idea of how much you'll be thrown around. A tight fitting 5, 6, or 7 poing harness will hold you in pretty tight and keep your upper body and head from flailing around too much.

True, but cars are designed with padded surfaces all around to minimize injury, adding a roll bar adds a hazard for stock seat belts.

It seems no matter what information is posted, folks will ultimately do as they what. And that's their choice, but facts are facts. Running a rollbar with oem restraints is increasing the chance of add'l head trauma in the case of a serious accident.

As for our friend who almost losing his life at the Dragon, are you aware of the extent of his injuries from that accident?
