It was awesome to get to meet more of the Mid-A today. It's always nice to put names with faces and cars. Oleg, thanks for letting us into your home, and it was also a pleasure speaking with you on my cars past Alison and everyone else, wish I was of more help to you. But I did enjoy chatting with you and was was happy to have showed up (i'm sure earlier would have helped Anyways, enjoy the bar and till next meet everyone. P.S- Thanks for the pizza (took it back and shared with someone else working on their car). Here are some pics: [/IMG]

Nice pics! Looks like a good time was had....wish I had that many hands helping me yesterday....I probably should have waiting and had someone help me that knows what they are doing.....I finished my rollbar install at 3....in the morning

I do have a question b/c I wouldn't say its completely done yet......how are you guys getting a drill in the rear for the hole you have to drive upwards for the rear legs? just doesn't look like it'd fit.

hole you have to drive upwards? not entirely sure what you mean.. but if you sit the bar in place.. and mark the holes.. the remove the bar and drill down.. you should be good.

^^^This. It takes a lot of putting the bar in/out to get everything to line up correctly.

So where is the pic of the bar in the completed car?

Drive any different?

Did you check the top for rubbing?

When the top is down the top frame can/will make slight contact on the down bars.

no contact.. we made sure of that. the interior trim isn't going back in right away.. ron suggested i wait a week or two and then retighten everything.

The only thing is in trying to put at least one of the roll hoops in (not the one with the trimmed pieces because I didn't have them with) the seat belt mount interferes with the downbar.. so i might not be able to use them..

I dunno.. pretty beat from yesterday.. it's 90 and humid out today - wasn't really in the mood to go play with it today.

You've got to use the cut roll hoops. A stock hoop won't go in. Even so it's very tight around the top frame.
