If you remove the softtop resting tray, then no cutting is required. Obviously, you'll need to drill holes through the carpet. If you leave it, then you will need to cut out an opening for each of the back braces.

whats the good news?
piper did a great job on cales car. the wierd beam going through the center console is strange and would think if they made some changes that they could possibly make something work

correct sir. I was fortunate enough to pick up a safety21 rollbar with zero wait and at a very good price. I looked over the directions and my car and will be putting the roll bar in tomorrow when I get home from work. mine also has a harness bar, so i think i just might HAVE to get a set of harnesses

HardDog still has a few of the Go Fast Lab bars lying around FYI. The only difference between the Go Fast Lab bars and the redesigned Elda clone is the ability to run factory hoops with the latter and about $300. I am travelling down to the Charlotte area this weekend and will be stopping by HardDog to pick up my Go Fast Lab bar personally. Look into this option as it is a great way to get a great SCCA approved bar for cheap.
If anyone is interested, I will have a Bitterman roll bar for sale shortly.
