Rob works at the same company as I do. I know who he is, but he wouldn't know who I am. He's in pretty bad shape right now so he could definitely use our prayers. You hate to hear about this happening to anyone, but when it's a coworker and fellow S2Ker, it sorta hits home.

"On my way to work this morning I viewed the car that had gone off the road. I was the 2nd person to arrive at the accident and it was obvious that the car had veered off the road. The man was unconscious and thank God alive. Coming from Middletown it looked as if the car was parked under the tree unless you looked in your rear view mirror to see the driver side of the car against the tree. I am not sure what happened medical/deer/speed etc. but there were marks on the road that showed he had veered off the road. I had just missed hitting a deer about 2 miles down the road. I am happy to report that after calling the hospital this evening, the man is doing well and will recover."

There could have been a bee in his car...
Dude this has happened to me on several occasion either bees or hornets...Its freaky man your driving down 66 at like 75mph and then you see like to hornets buzzing around your head....I pulled off the road and took me like 5 min to get those things out my car...It was intense

2slow, sorry to hear that he was a coworker, and that he actually is in bad shape. If possible, keep us updated on his condition and give him well wishes.

I don't know Rob personally, but I know who he is (we use to park beside each other when my office was on the other side of the building). None the less, it's still saddening when you learn of something like this. If anything good were to come of this, it would be a reminder to us all to always drive safely and that things can happen in a blink of an eye.

The latest update is good. Although he is in no way "doing well," he is responsive. He regained consciousness last night, but is still in bad shape. The worst of his injuries included a broken skull and shattered pelvis. He can still use our prayers for a quick and full recovery. I'll post an update when I hear something.
