Default S2K backed into by Navigator

Well I was parked here at work today and one of the mangers came over to tell me he accidently backed into my s2000 with the Navigator he was driving. Rear Bumper, Trunk, Driver side Taillight are all torn up and from what I can tell Driver side rear quarter panel is bent. The guy is going to cover the damages....any one know where I should take my car? West Broad Honda body shop? If I have frame or quarter panel damage I don't know if I would want to keep her. this blows

Damn how fast was he driving when he hit you? I don't think that type of damage is just from parking.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. I hate those large SUV's.

Mike (VAS2K) recommended to me Precision Body Works. He said they did great work on his Mini. Would highly recommend them. I used Fletchers for a repaint on my accord hood and I wouldn't use them again. There were defects in the paint and the hood didn't line up flush with the quarter panels when I got it back. Sloppy job for the money I paid.

I also don't know that WBH would do good body work or match the paint as well as a professional paint shop. Years ago I had them repaint part of my CRX after hail damage and 5 years later the paint started to come up under the sealant.

I would stick with a professional paint shop for this job. Just my 2 cents!

good luck

a deer did a little damage to my friend's 2005 Acura TL (it was 2 days old, 300 miles on the odo) back in october. front bumper, headlight assembly, RF fender, both passenger side doors (stupid animal kicked the doors after the hit) were all damaged. the car is pearl white. progressive insurance took care of it, and they sent it to J&J Auto Body in Mechanicsville. they did a phenomenal job of everything. paint matching was the big worry, but it turned out beautifully.

hope everything turns out okay

thanks for the replies and suggestions everyone, they are highly appreciated...paint match and the rear quarter are my biggest worries at the moment...I think I will make some calls on Monday to some of the shops and try and get a couple different quotes if possible.

The body shop is estimating 1.5 hours frame labor of pulling the body to align the rear....when I asked about this they said you don't have a frame we are just pulling the stuff behind the bumper and the tail light back to it's factory specs. Should I be concerned with this? They claim the car will be just like new and I won't notice a thing.
