ScottiJusmc's Paint Job
I wanted to share this with the members. I thought it might be interesting for those who are not familiar with what goes on between the before and after. Thank you Scotti for the opportunity to work on your car.
The previous owner really butchered the car. Paint was peeling, wavy bodywork, rust, panels not aligned, bolts missing, tape lines, ect.
This is what the car looked like when I pulled it into the shop.

Previous trunk spoiler and emblems holes need to be welded.

To show where the damage was.

Work has begun!

Body work.

Primed

Jambs Painted black.

Car painted is painted. I had to paint three separate times since their was a billion little parts.

To the left of the front bumper those little silver things are Mark's side strakes lol

Last, but not least, WHEELS.

Done.

These are some pictures from the meet.

Do it!!! Rusty has a serious crack addiction or he just loves us to death!!! At the meet I had him look my car over. He said he would fix all dings, shave Honda emblems, respray basically front of car(rock chip city) and do the wheels and paint a front lip. Magic number like $1000.
This thing looks even slicker in person, too. You did a really nice job man! Your +1 was telling me how hard you'd worked on it too, after your normal hours at the shop no less, while you and Mark were trying to help that turbo that broke down...
I am definitely coming to you for some work in the spring, if you're still looking for it.
for an awesome job!

Thank you so much for all the positive feedback. Toreus, you are correct. Scotti dropped the car off on the 4th and I needed to be fished by the 12th so he can go to the meet. Basically, I had 13-14 hour work days
. It was tough but I'm glad I did it. I love working on s2k's and meeting members that have the same interest in cars. Feel free to contact me anytime. Also, I do a lot of headlight restorations. If anyone is interested I can post some pics. I've had semi trucks go with 400k miles without a problem.
