just out of curiousity, if your car is in fact declared to be "totalled" by the insurance company, what other options are there?
depending on how you do it you could get a new top for 600, replace it yourself. buy used seats on here or buy aftermarket seats that wont total up to 8k.
I see the logic behind totalling it but damn, there isnt really anything wrong with the car once you fix the top and put seats back in, it will be good as new. Would you be able to keep it somehow?
