Seeking Key Cutter/Programmer in Hampton Roads
[COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue]Hey, Gang.
I had my '04 S2000 Master key stolen during a purse theft and need badly to replace it. I've purchased the ILCO Transponder Blank HD106PT5 online, but now need to have it cut and programmed. Anyone in the Hampton Roads area who will do this for less than $24 for the blank (if this one isn't correct) and $75 to program that Williams Honda of Hampton will charge?
Mean people suck!
Thanks in advance,
Pamela

Here's what I learned today. The number for our blank key as HD106PT5 in the 2006 ILCO Auto Truck Key Blank catalog is incorrect. The correct ILCO blank for the 2004 model is H001T5. I had one cut/programmed today and it works as good as my original key.
Fortunately, not only dealers can program our keys. Their prices are truly off the chain, typically totalling up to near and/or above $100 for blank and/or cutting and programming.
I highly recommend Shorty Wallin Lock & Security where I paid $50, yes, $50 for all-- the correct blank, cutting and programming. They are licensed and bonded and went back and forth to my vehicle several times until they sized it to fit perfectly. (And they treated me well.) They are located at 1971 E. Pembroke Ave, in the Buckroe Shopping Center in Hampton, 23663. 757-722-0883.
I now again have peace of mind and am glad the purse that was stolen was not mine but a relative who was visiting Hampton Roads from Pittsburgh. At least the thief does not have my address since only her stuff was only in her purse-- of course, except my keys!
A blessing, indeed.
Be safe, gang-- and extra careful with those keys this holiday season.
