Default Selling a vehicle through EBAY?

Has anyone here used Ebay to sell a vehicle? I'm thinking about trying this for once as some have told me they have had pretty decent luck with it. I'm totally new to this, so I was just wondering what I should expect as far as fees are concerned . What could I realistically expect ebay to take from the total sale if the vehicle sold for $28,000? Any input from frequent Ebayer's would be appreciated .

High Final Value Fees. But I love EBAY. More people can see your stuff.

I would assume that this is not payed until the vehicle is officially sold? Or, is this just to simply post the add?

Just once it sells and you have your money. Did you set a reserve price?

I have yet to post the car up. I wanted to hear what people had to say before I actually took the next step.

ou will be charged an installment fee which is not much, the price goes higher as you add more pics, etc.

After its sold you will be charged a certain percantage of the total as the sellers fee

i don't know what some of you guys are talking about i put cars on ebay all the time for the dealership and if you just use a standard listing with a buy it now and reserve price and put about 20 pics up you'll be around $55-60 for the listing. You pay that everytime you list the car whether it sells or not. I'll put a couple links below to 2 vehicles I have on ebay right now so you can see a "nice" easy to read layout.

A few tips for the listing. Don't be afraid to go "crazy" in depth as to the history of the car and what you have done to it. Make sure you take alot of pics. You can have about 24-25 pics max so in essence the more pics you put up the better. Don't write in all CAPS b/c it's hard as hell to read.

Good Luck!
