Default shifting issues.. any ideas

I now have about 2500 miles on my.new clutch.. I thought maybe this problem would go away.but it hasn't and now its getfin on my nerves. I thought it may have been the clutch not closing.the flywheel down but that's not the case ..its even when the car is off.

Problem: when going from a stop getting. The car into first or reverse it hard.. like sometimes really hard.. and randomly ill be shifting and it will drink like I have the clutch out but its all the way to.the floor... my levels are fine with fluid. Before I took the trans out to do this not once did I ever grind a gear.. I think maybe its something to do.with the shifter ??????

Thanks in advance guys

So the clutch feels soft or like its not engaging? Did you bleed the lines?

first thing that came to mind was air in the lines.

I would just to cover all bases. I close the nut as the person is pressing on the clutch so that fluid is being forced out as the nut is being tightened. Leaves little to no chance for air being entered in the system from that side. Ive seen people wait until the person has let off the clutch to tighten the nut.
