Synchros in the transmission, possibly.

Terry had a similar problem.

Chris, you also did your slave cylinder and installed a braided line to the SS that day, I know you bled the system once already, but bleeding it again will be the cheapest and fastest solution--if that is what it is.

Well, then that should have been stated in the first post. Definitely bleed it again.

Now if only i could understand your OP. Good Luck

I tried hard, and I don't know WTF some of that means. Especially "randomly ill be shifting and it will drink like I have the clutch out"

Anyway, I've heard from billman, and others that to really bleed the clutch well, you should take the slave off of the car, and orient it so that the bleed nipple is the highest point on the slave cylinder. This ensures that 100% of the air will come out.

I used to bleed with the partner system, but last week decided to try a gravity bleed. I think it was a lot easier that way, and I didn't have to bark instructions at anybody.

Open the bleeder valve a little bit, make sure the top is off of the master cylinder, and make sure it stays full of fluid. Gravity does the rest.

I can't remember exactly how long. I think I bled mine for about 20 minutes. That equates to most of a small bottle of brake fluid. Probably more than I needed, but I wanted to play it safe.
