Hmmm, how does the AP2 clutch delay valve figure into things?

I don't remember it being related to anything. I removed it and threw it away. I also can't remember any issues putting the slave back on.

As xviper says "make sure all other contingencies are covered: good clutch disc and PP and flywheel, clutch fluid good and bled. If not, you can serious do harm to your car," but it is possible to adjust your clutch engagement point by adjusting the master cylinder: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/295...9#entry5653429

Clutch is fine, I know that 100%. Clutch fluid is all brand new.

I forgot to mention, the clutch does not gravity bleed. If I open the cap and the bleeder valve, nothing comes out

Clutch bleeding can be a bit weird. I had to push the pedal in once to get mine started, but after that it bled fine.

Even after pushing the pedal it doesn't keep coming out.

It can also cause the clutch to start slipping when the fluid heats up, expands and cannot find its way back into the fluid reservoir.

I see this on race cars when people adjust all the free play out of the pushrods on their master cylinders. When the calipers heat up the fluid, the brakes jam on and they expand the fluid more. One customer was complaining that his car was down on power after the first lap, and it was running really hot. He would actually boil the radiator fighting the poor engine against the jammed brakes.

Interesting. I didn't realize a mis-adjusted clutch could prevent the slave from going back in. I did know about the possible wear/slipping though. You should always have some free play at the top of the pedal travel.
