Snow at last!
I feel your pain Naveed...I was following a g35 and a 350z up a tiny hill...the first G made it fine...the 350z was all over the place and almost took me out in the process and I drove right up it. Amazing what a difference education can make.

I don't even wanna get into that stupidity
I can't even imagine having my S2000 out in what we had last night in anything other than full winter tires. I had my winter beater 91 Accord with narrow all seasons out in it last night and it did just fine in the ice but people all around me were fishtailing all over the place.
On the way to work this morning the backroads were so slick with ice and packed snow I could have skated on them with hockey skates!
No way is my S coming out in snow, and it's strapped with brand new Dunlop SP winter sports!

My MR2 fish-tailed like crazy yesterday. I thought that since the engine is (almost) above of the rear drive wheels, it would handle a little bit better in the snowy weather. WRONG.
And what's the deal with all the ass-hat SUV drivers out there going over the speed limit? AWD don't mean shit in this weather if you still have on your stock radials - especially the idiot in the black Explorer that lost control on Wilson Blvd.

Worst car I've ever driven in snow, engine over drivewheels is good for accelerating in snow but TERRIBLE for steering since it makes the rear end extremely tail happy, especially since the rear tires are wider than the fronts.
I also encountered a couple SUV's in ditches!

i saw a pontiac grand prix upside down about 30-40 feet back in the woods by the 270-70 split in frederick. no idea how it got there. i had to drive home from whitetail in that weather yesterday, luckily i was in my explorer and not my S2000. i think i'm going to drive it tomorrow though.
I was already out by the time it started accumulating on the road. I've driven in snow before with a RWD, but not with a mid-engine car. Never really lost control, but lost traction a few times around some corners. Definitely not taking the MR2 out in the snow unless it has winter tires.
