Default Soft-Top Replacement Shop

Hi All,

I need to find a good shop to replace the top on my 2000 s2k. Someone tried to break into the car and steal the seats but got scared off. I would like to get one of the tops that have a glass rear window which fit on my model year so I assume that the dealer is not the best place to go. I am also not sure how much insurance is going to cover so price will probably be a concern as well.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Greg

I saw in another thread that Lim's Upholstery in Vienna does good work. Anyone know of any others? My job is in Severna Park so if anyone knows of a place out that way, it would also be convenient.

Thanks,

Greg

There's a guy in New England selling a complete top, frame and motor from his '03. I believe he's asking $1100 + shipping. Relatively easy swap doing the whole thing.

Or try the FS forums (like Skip said)

Here is an 03 top with 40k in the FS forum

There are step by step instructions on how tp change your top from a plastic window to a glass window if you search for it.

That link has two more links in it to get you going.

Or try this link from hardtop guy for a new OEM top: http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/product.ph...1&cat=11&page=1

Thanks for the links and information. I dont think that I want to try to install a new top myself. I saw the thread with Lim's but was wondering if anyone had good experiences with other shops as well.

Cheers,

Greg
