Default Sony is the devil

Okay, ol' Skippy's gonna post here eventually (he probably forgot to eat & shower all weekend as he works on his GT4 licenses). And when he does, he'll remind me how great he is...and how pitiful I am . Cuz these license tests are whores on rugs .

I freaking love this game. Hate the boredom associated with pegging gold in the license tests...but the game is first-rate . And God bless Taska for getting me the Logitech Driving Force Pro Wheel for the PS2 for Christmas . This wheel & pedals set is simply as good as it gets. Forget playing this game with a gamepad. Forced feedback steering rocks! .

So far I've got Gold on 5 of the first series of license tests. I'm att Silver on the 6th license test...and finally had to push the power button on the PS2. Damn game is simply "crack" . Couldn't believe how much of my day I wiled away playing it. So very nice!

Okay, so Sony's not the devil...no reeeeeally . But Polyphony sure made a deal with someone down under when they made this sweet-arse game! Haulin' arse through Time Trials on Citta di Aria sticks a grin on my face that ain't easy to rub away. Makes for a nice "Dragon-fix" until WTD '05 . And Replay mode of running my yeller S2000 through the twisty elevations of Citta di Aria are just stunning . And being able to see the car with the top down just rocks.

Love the game. But now I'm afraid I have an addiction . Which is baaaaad, because I was suppose to complete some "to do's" in getting the house fixed up to put it on the market . Oh well...there's always next weekend (wait...that's when Raul comes up to visit... Sounds like more GT4 instead ).

Definitely an INCREDIBLE game! I've been playing it every moment I had. Unfortunately I don't have the Logitech wheel Still...its REALLY fun! I just LOVE the photo mode and the ability take pics in replays! I've taken 100+ pics, and trust me, to get good shots, you have to spend a good amount of time playing around with location, placement of vehicle and all of the camera options...

About the license tests...I just get the bronze and leave it at that... I have a tendency to kirk out and break controllers, so I don't even try to get golds cuz I know for a FACT that I'd probably break a controller on EACH test.

Haven't been playing much. Honestly. I am halfway done on my Super license. Dave, wait until you take final test for the IA license. Then the Super license also has the same test as its last one.

I actually found some of the A & B license tests harder than the international ones. I didn't import any money and started from scratch.

I thought I would've been able to import all of my licenses from GT3, but I guess not I would've loved it if I didn't have to get any licenses in this game, but eh, oh well...

And I'm SO glad I could transfer some credits...I got to start off with an S2K from the beginning of the game so that made me really happy

The Supercar License is a lot of fun, but it is going to take me a while to bronze all those tests...sheesh. Helluva game though!

Is it just me or did they speed the game up? When you are going 150MPH is seems a lot fast than then previous GT's. Especially at 240mph I almost crapped my pants in my living room.

I have to admit I am a Junkie also, In HD it's very sharp.

So far the N-ring and the paved rallies are my favorite. The sensation of speed on those narrow streets is incredible.

The prize for the rallies are better too, So far I won A Toyota Rally car and a 750HP Caddy CIEN concept car.

One thing, turn off the auto save feature, I blew all my money on a Mugen S2000 just to test the car not planning to save it.

Dang...I need to change the title of this thread I'd been "holding out for Gold" on each license test when I'd first posted here. And that is a royal biotch!

Last night, I just decided to hammer through accepting Bronzes...I did that standing on my head .

Life is good . More tracks, lame-o freebie car prizes (...that get me mod money when I sell them ). Ahhhh, heaven.

So...I'm sorry Sony. Perhaps you're not the devil. With Bronzes & Silvers in the bank, I'm a happy camper .

Such a sweet-ass game!
