Default southern md alignment shop recommendations

I need some help. I live in St. Marys county and I'm looking for an alignment shop that can deal with my volk rims. I asked trick trucks, tires plus, and southern tire and all said they will damage my rims with their machine. They said the machine head will clamp on the rim and damage it. Raleys alignment shop said they can do a mechnical alignment but it will only be a two wheel alignment.

I posted in the wheel and tire forum and they recommended going to a good high end performance shop and it shoudn't be an issue. Unfortunaly I'm not sure we have such a thing in southern maryland.

Another poster suggested placing blue painters tape on the wheel, but I think the machine clamps down on the rim which will cause the damage. I can't imagine the tape will eliminate any damage.

I'm willing to travel over to calvert as well.

THanks for the help
Dan

Just drive up to Manassas to P-tuning.

You will end up saving money, don't take your car to some shop that does not have a high end alignment machine.

I remember Raleys did mine on my civic with no mention of damaging the wheels. I sent my friend there with his EVO and they did his as well. Both with aftermarket wheels. This was like a year ago... You rock gold GTC's right? With the bike rack...

Thanks for the replies. I may try raleys. The only thing with them is they only do a two wheel alignment not a full 4 wheel alignment. They do a mechincal alignment and don't need the machine to clamp on.

I do have the yellow s2000 with the bike rack. In the winter I had the rack on my accord, but now it's back to the S for the summer. I know it looks stupid, but I like to drive my car and ride my bike.
