Its days like today that its not so advantageous to have a BS autocross car, I'm bored. If I still ran my other car there would certainly be something I'd be tweaking.

Haha, sorry guys! I meant to put a thread in the mid-a, but got sidetracked with the STi. We actually sold it in just a few days. Buyer took it last night. Now the search for a cheap daily...
I can't believe you sold it....... and without telling me it was for sale.

I can't wait to see what you consider a "cheap" daily.

"Look honey, I just picked up this beater Elise to kick around town in. It gets great gas mileage and I don't have to worry about where to park it."

I'm thinking something old and cheap. Possibly an Accord.

Jeff, I think you should dabble in STR. Tons of tweaking to be done in that class to get the most out of your car and with your new shocks you're already off to a great start.

And No, the STI isn't for sale and I'm not looking for another s2000

I don't think I'm going to do the STR thing. Even with the shocks, I'd still need to spend thousands to be competetive and I'd still have a untuneable 2004. I don't get spending all that money and going slower, just boggles my mind. I like a well setup STR car but taking the wife out to dinner might end up being a problem, on her end.

Now, if RTR takes off, I might be all over it. My current stock setup with 245/255 Star specs would be very quick. I still need to look into who has tried it but I think the S would be one of the top runners.

"old and cheap" + Accord = flip-up headlights.

Want to buy a smart car?

Not thinking that old and cheap.

And the only way I'm driving a Smart car, is if I'm getting paid to do it.

Wagon or small SUV, mayhaps? But I'm the type who would totally want either this cute little wagon and/or this simple and basic car.

And I'm not sure how much money I'd have to be paid to drive a Smart car either. If Minis weren't so darn unreliable after they're out of warranty I might have gotten one.

How's everyone doing?

It's been awfully quiet in the Sova area lately.
