Yep!

I'm leaning towards an 08+. The perfect find would be a GPW w/red interior, and that's going to be a challenge. I'm also contemplating a CR. Just not sure if I want to have a car without a soft top.

Mike, that's fine. Figured I'd ask. And as for it being supercharged, that wouldn't bother me. I do prefer an N/A car, but I know you take extremely good care of your cars.

Damn, Pete. That didn't take long for you to start looking again! I'd say in about 6 months, we'll see Steve saying the same thing...

Got to love my antique phone! Press “post" once & it freezes. Check the thread later & it posted 3 times.
Pete, Good luck finding an 08 GPW with a red interior. Do not see those available very often.

Yeah, it could probably take a few months easily to find one. I'm just really set on the 08+ red interior. I think I'd even go for a BB w/red interior.

The nice thing about CRs, is that there seems to be plenty of them for sale out there.

Buy a CR and put a soft top in it? Big question is how much of the wiring harness(es) Honda deleted for the CR.

I have contemplated that too. I could probably do a trade with the HT for someones complete soft top assembly/motors/frames/electrical, etc., and make some money on it.

It's probably be easier for you to find a non-CR GPW and cheaper too. Plus, who wants to deal with swapping a soft top in to the car?

And Mike definitely wants to keep his AP2. He made sure he said so 3 times. He claims his phone froze, but really he was so angry at the thought of someone buying his car that he pressed the button repeatedly.

from what I've seen so far, it's much easier to find a low mileage CR than an 08+ GPW.

A guy in New Jersey just posted his GPW w/red interior for 35k. A little steep for me, but he's not that far away.

Trust me, you don't want to deal with swapping in a soft top. Major pain. Just go for the non-CR. I think based upon our conversations that what you really want.
