Colonial parkway? What's that? Sounds like fun though.

I did that on the bike before, I believe. Wasn't quite so enjoyable due to the aggregate paving and low speeds.

Is there an autocross at Pungo this Sunday? Probably too late to sign up, but I swear I heard there was one going on but I don't see it on TSCC's schedule

Colonial Parkway is a fantastic drive, but it's definitely not balls-to-the-wall action. I live closer to the Yorktown end so that's where I usually start, but there's always the drive back. Along the James, it's positively spectacular on a sunny day.

If only the Jamestown Settlement was free year-round. It's great to walk over to the Carrot Tree, buy a few beers and stare out at the water.

Funny...my mother-in-law actually works at the Riverwalk restaurant. Depending on how many people roll, there's always the Yorktown Pub. Great little dive with fantastic food, but there isn't a whole lot of space.
