SPC Adjustable Ball Joint Install How-To
I recently installed SPC adjustable ball joints in the front of my S and I documented the install. The install also shows how to remove the brake dust shields.

Very nice, Rob.
Sunday, while talking to Toan, he mentioned how one could angle the plate such that an increase in caster and camber could be possible.
Lots of caster allows one to run less camber in a straight line, while increasing dynamic camber upon turn-in. More-for-less tire wear and better straightline braking.
Now you tell me about the intentional caster inducement...
I guess I can always press the bottom plates out and try again. I assume you would want to move the ball joint inward for more camber and to the rear to add caster so a nice diagonal orientation would get the job done.

You don't want to go 45*, but some angling could benefit both. I can't say how far to go- Toan might be the one to ask.

I finally got a good alignment with the SPC camber kit. With me in the driver seat my shop was able to get:
Front
Caster 6.8 degrees
Camber -2.8 degrees
Toe 0
Rear
Camber -3.3 (no camber kit in back)
Total Toe In 36"
I have the SPC balljoints set at maximum negative camber (full in), but the stock adjusters have plenty of camber adjustment available if needed.

Here's a pic of what full lock looks like with my alignment:

The car drives nicely on the street. I'll let you know how the alignment feels on the track as soon as I can.
