Default Stolen Wheels

So last night my neighbor's minivan was broken into and stole his factory Dodge radio, but left my easily broken S2000 alone and unharmed. I thought I was ok until I noticed that they took my stock set of AP1 wheels/tires that I had sitting on the side of the house.

To make the day even better, when I was walking around the S to make sure it was ok, I noticed a huge bend in one of my rear rims from hitting a pothole last night. I could really use those stockers right now...

Anyway...keep an eye out for suspicious sets of stock AP1 rims. I don't have an pics, but they were in ok shape and wrapped in good Bridgestone all-seasons. I hope they f@#k up and put them on craigslist so I can find them and steal them back, but if not let this be a lesson to always lock your shit up.

Cliffs: Thieves suck.

Other than random acts of vandalism (broken windows...bs like that), this is the first time in 25 years of living here I've heard of theft in my neighborhood in Silver Spring. Makes me glad that my S spends most of it's time in an airport parking garage.

WUT?

Also, go here: https://www.crimereports.com/ and enter your address or zip code. And report the thefts to the police.

You can see if you've had a wave of break-ins lately. When it happened in our neighborhood, it was obvious that they were making the rounds, seeing similar reports from the neighborhood and surrounding areas on that map.

Keep safe.

Yes, I realize I'm a moron for just having them sitting on the side of the house. I pulled them out of my basement to use as weight to tie stuff in my yard down when hurricane Irene came through and just never put them back.

That's a great website by the way. My police report shows up, and it looks like a few other houses in my area got hit that night and in the last few weeks. I might have to stake out the neighborhood with my mossburg.
