Not a fan of the sticky idea....
I think that we should do either option 1 or 3.

If option 3, then possibly it should be threads for MD, VA, and DC (anything that's on or inside the beltway goes here, everything else goes to other threads)

Between option 1 and 3, I like the single thread option the best. There was normally about 10-15 posts in it a week and I dont think that's too much to keep up with. I think it's a simple solution and keeps everything in one place. There's no confusion on where to post and you only have to go to one place for sightings. I think the more threads there are for sightings, the less inclined people will be to post (I know I will be).

Just an idea maybe you could use "Central Va" to include Richmond and C'ville.
And then "Southwest VA" to include the Roanoke, Lynchburg and all points west.
Northern VA - that sorta speaks for itself including Baltimore in that area.
And "Norfolk and VA Beach" are the Eastern areas.

tenblade voiced his opinion to me vocally of doing three threads like LiQiCE and jnn4v suggested:

Virginia, DC Metro/NOVA, and Maryland

With a link to each thread in the main sticky as it is now.

I'm not going to post a poll or anything, but it will either be 1 thread or 3 at this point and the decision will be made before Monday - so keep it coming.

Everyone please remember that just like your prior C.O.'s, sweetj & I try to do what is in the best interest of the whole community......there are times when not everyone is happy, and it is obvious that whichever way we go with this isn't going to make the entire community do the

We do ask that whichever way it turns out that we at least welcome the change by giving it a try. We can always revert back to the old way down the road.......this isn't DC or anything

I don't care -- I'm in the four hours or more from anywhere void -- the land of the forgotten -- the place where no one knows what an s2000 is -- the place where the best highways and roadways known to mankind for S-car driving are located.

Alright - we are going to try 3 threads and this is how it till be broken down:

BLUE... SOVA: Hampton Roads, Roanoke, Richmond, Charlottesville, Staunton, the Eastern Shore
RED... NOVA/DC Metro: Fredericksburg, NOVA, DC, Beltway, and DC Burbs in MD
WHITE... MD: Everything in Maryland except DC Burbs

Please give this method a try and if it becomes too complicated, then we can go back to the old way.

I have already merged threads and changed titles to reflect this. There is a link to each thread in the "Main Link" Sticky. I have also deleted all non-sightings related posts in those threads.

This thread will remain open for comments, concerns, worries, etc...
