i am seeing a patern keith

I think keith was attempting to pass someone on a two lane road with his S2000 when he wrecked it... it may have been cold out which caused some of the problem (sticky tires don't like cold weather).

for the track you can use almost any kind of tire your first time out....

I didn't think Keith had wrecked the S at the track but he was the only one I could think of that had a supercharged S and a 360.

Edit:

Nevermind he didn't say he wrecked the S on a track.

Since I have never tracked my car....well...I'd like to. Summit offers instructional help and such for $200 which I think is fair. I think I'm a good driver but I'll admit I'm no pro.

SO....

They say you can rent a helmet there...one problem solved
They say all convertibles must have rollbars....well....mine does ...but just stock ones...is that enough?
At the risk of sounding like a real idiot....do you guys who go to tracks use pump gas or racing fuel?

Anything else I should know?

(I looked at their website before coming here but still had questions)

Thanks in advance,

Mike
At a FATT you can run top down or up, at least you used to be able to.

The other groups have different rules.

Keith is dangerous.... Damn Rich People

not to scare you but another instructor had a supercharged s2000 and rolled it ...he said the rear just gave out with all that power. so he bought another one for the street, all stock...haha!

guess what is his track car now? ferrari 360!

rich people....
328 SP turn 3 back in may 2000, just plain too fast into turn.

supercharged s2k in dec 2003 on route 9, damn slow ass mustang finally sped up as i was trying to pass, wiggled on cold surface slowing down to come back into right lane, went off sideways....

2004 360 is my fun car.

2004 s2k (stock) is my daily driver

formula SCCA (open wheel, open cockpit, like a mini F1 body style) is my track car.

Ahh but it is in chronolgical order. S2ki had a time warp and flipped to October 11th for a little while yesterday even though it was October 13th. So your response is dated before the quoted post.
