A race-prepped S2000 is good for mid-1:26's and I was doing high 1:28's w/ a relatively stock one.

BTW, Accelerate big time down into the shoot before the left hander into the carosel. Most people come down the hill and back off after four as they approach five. The best passing zone on the track besides out braking going into one.

I think the race-prepped S2000s will be faster in 04

James-

You can find the 2004 Honda Challenge schedule here although I think there may be a change in the Hyperfest date (July 10-11) due to a conflict w/ an SCCA event.

Although James and I would be out on track at the same time for Honda-Challenge events we are in different classes. Honda Challenge runs five classes, H1-H5. The S2000 and NSX compete against all "hybrid" cars in H1. The 2nd gen CRX Si is in H4.

For those of you who want to see what makes a Honda-Challenge race car and how each class is comprised, check out the rules here.

For those of you who don't know, Pete's driver, Jason Meise, won the SCCA class I'm now running in (ITA) in 2001 as a rookie w/ an '88 CRX Si. He's an amazing driver.
