I was thinking about a excursion into West VA next Sunday and doing some asphalt surfing.

Keith sorry we missed you, we took some local roads first just to see if it was going to clear up heading West.

I hit up the radio when on 66 near 340, you must have just left.

Pete here is the route

66W to 81S (only 2-3 miles) then 55W (there are places where 55 is detoured to the new highway) make sure you bypass the detour and stay in the twisties.

Take 55 to Petersburg, then right on 42N left on 93 (100+ sweepers)
Right on 32N the Left on 219S, left on 72, left on 32N, stay on 32N it becomes 219N into MD
Right on US 50E, 50 to Winchester

Here are a few pics

I couldn't take pics of the real twisties as I was and some were damp in places too

Nothing like steep downhill 4th gear damp sweepers

Lots of heel n toe downshifts into 2nd, in 20MPH marked uphill and down hill hairpins, redline in third and sometimes 4th, the brake and start all over again. The uphill climb on 42 is awesome.

Rt 72 is one tight 180 after another, I swear I could see the back of my car when trying to look far into the corner.
