Default Supercharged locals

Doing this again but for superchargers lol.

Anyone in the area have a s/c ap1, willing to give me a ride to get a feel for it? Preferably with an sos kit / novi 1200 blower. I'm willing to come to you.

2 of my buddies are supercharged, but both of them are ap2.

one is sos, with upgraded pulley and fuel(alot faster than the other guy), the other is vortech on 6lbs(entry level kit). im sure either of them wouldn't mind.

What made you choose SC over Turbo?

I'll shoot you a pm whenever I get some free time in the next few days.

Mostly because I would like to keep daily driving the car and pretty much all the centrifugal supercharger kits for the s2k are a much simpler, reliable, and headache free way to boost the car. I don't need crazy power and after my previous turbocharged cars i'd just rather keep it simple and modest. But lets face it. N/A power levels get boring pretty quick.

Bump.

Still looking to get a ride along.

Keep me in an S and not in an m3! I need more power!

Track days will cure that. You can get lots of seat time for the cost of an SoS kit.

Just sayin'

True. And running around the local backroads its more than enough power, but everywhere else its just not enough. Maybe I have my priorities messed up but I can't track it without a roll bar and I don't want my cut up my red interior for a roll bar either. But I can autox just fine without one. That and I'm 6' and im unsure how much comfort room a roll bar will take away from me. And since I still daily it I don't want to risk wrecking it on track 2 hours away from home. I'm a mixed ball of decisions lol. Which is why I wanna feel this out and see how I feel about boosting it.

But on the other side, I feel like maybe I should sell the car altogether and buy something with higher factory power and still handles well (see e46 m3) instead of boosting it and potentially cause more powertrain issues and failures. I'm purposely trying to keep one car for the time being because of unknown future living situations. If I have room for 2 cars then it makes decision making much easier. I'm just not really sure what I want to do at the moment and essentially driving myself mad.
