Supercharged S2000
I'm looking at three cars. BMW MZ4, Acura NSX, or the Honda S2000. I've owned two other S2Ks in the past and am thinking about buying it again but only if I supercharge it. I've driven the other two above and am undecided.
For $55K I can get the MZ4 with ICE and Wheels. $60K would be the NSX, needing to put money into ICE and Wheels. $30K I can go with the Honda S2000 again but add ICE ($3K), Wheels ($4K), and supercharger (Vortech $5K). I would pocket probably around $15K by not going with the MZ4.
Anyway, I wanted to test drive or tag along with someone who has supercharged their S2K. Anybody near Arlington, VA want to help me out?
Thanks!

You wont find anyone around here with one yet ... but if you're considering a supercharged S2000, take a look at the BRP Supercharger for the S2000. Its a roots blower for the S2000, $5500 installed right now if you're willing to drive the car down to SC to get it installed.
Their prototype dyno'ed 315whp / 217 ft-lbs, with a nearly flat torque curve from 3000rpms to redline.
The BRP Supercharger was prototyped on an AP2, with an AP1 prototype happening soon.

You probably already know, but no supercharger currently works with the 2006 S2000s because of the drive by wire.
Good luck with your purchasing decision!
