Default SweetJ's Message to the Mid-A

This post is in response to some of the recent posts about my invovlement as a CO. I have been lurking some in the past week or so reading these posts. I didn't respond b/c, in all honesty, I didn't know what to say.

I'm thankful for all of the friends I have on here who have sent PMs concerned about what has been going on in my life. I've been making alot of changes lately. I've had a big deal with my health lately for about the past 4 months. I didn't think it was important to post this on an open forum but I feel now it will explain me being MIA.

I do feel its been a direct attack on me by a few people. I have owned my S for 6 years now, and I finally paid it off. I have been a member on here for almost 5 years now and seen alot of changes happen throughout the site, community, and members.
Recently, I have still had involvement in the community even though its mainly been offline. Just b/c everyone doesn't see everything I have done please don't assume that I haven't done anything.

I've brought many people to this site and even got another guy at my work to buy an S, which he is very happy with. If you want me to step down then I will. I would really prefer not to. I feel that I've gotten myself to a pretty good place right now, and I'm looking forward to organizing meets in the Spring.

I do think that the Mid-A is a big area, and I do agree that MD should have 2 COs, for a total of 3 Mid-A CO's. If you all will still have me I'd like to really be a huge part of our group. You all do know we have up's 'n down's in our lives. It's not that my priorities have changed, I love my freakin car and all my great friends I have met here, but I think that my physical health was a little more important to take care of. That has been taken care of.

It been very hurtful to read some of the recent posts. I wish that if people thought there was a problem that they would have brought this to my attention.

All in all, the decision is up to the community, and I respect that. I will not have internet access over the weekend, but will respond on Mon. to any posts or PMs.

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

Sweetj,

I want to be the first to say, you are doing a great job. I myself, haven't been on here as much, mainly because of the direction s2ki has been going. I remember when it was a lot nicer, and more cozy than how it is now. I wouldn't give a second thought upgrading my membership to be gold, but this year, when it was time, i just couldn't do it. It wasn't the cost, it was more, I don't like how things have been heading and i couldn't justify paying to be a member of a club that i hardly visit anymore.

So bottom line is, i urge you to say and not pay attention to those that are making personal attacks on you. Those people are probably the same people that are bringing this fine establishment down. don't sink to their level and don't let it bother you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years... go enjoy your holiday, and not worry about this...

Many loofahs for J

Hope some of the "who are you" posts in HAW didn't get you down. They were in jest (at least by me - but I think I can speak for most folk there). Knowing your passion for the community, I figured something pretty important was going on for you, and I think you can feel comfortable about how many friends and well-wishers you have here.

The thing I've noticed and appreciated most about Jerrianna is that at every meet she's always going out of her way to make sure everyone is having a good time. Anytime you are up for a position I will be voting for you.

J,

I have not been around much lately either also due to private life issues. However, if anybody deserves being a CO here I think that's you. In the few meets I have attended you were always there on top on things, and giving support to newbies like me. You have all my support as a CO. Please keep up all the good work you have been doing these past years. Please stay as CO!!

Happy holidays to you too

J, even though I may not be Mid-A, your on-line "absence" concerned me. Good to hear that things are looking up.

Happy Holidays

Jerianna, I wish you the best whatever you decide to do.

Your involvement with the community has been terrific. In this day and age it's hard to find time to manage your work and personal life, let alone being a CO for this board.

Happy Holidays Everyone.

George

Sweet J, your commitment and involvement in our community is invaluable. I truly enjoy the few meets I've been to as you're always helpful. (who else's Cali Blade was I gonna borrow anyways? )

To anyone questioning her loyalty and commitment, you have now idea where we'd be with out her. Thanks again.

Nobody's more fun to watch giving the Zaino Treatment than Sweet J.
