How fast was she going? To pin you inside the car like that, seems not to speak well of the rigidity of the door construction on the Civic.
Several years ago my father and brother were traveling in dad's M-B S500 when someone ran a red light and t-boned them at 35 mph in the passenger side. The other car was totalled...the passenger side doors of the Mercedes had to be replaced. No injuries to my brother or father (although I suspect bro probably shit his pants lol).

she had to be doing 50 at the least, the car was lifted into the air barely and then came to rest...actually the side impact bar in the door was straight and the rest of the skin of the door was pushed into the seat..she was driving a big benz so there you go...also if it matters her license plate is impaled in the door skin and cannot be removed by hand almost like it was tig welded in
